Player Guide

This page is for normal SvenGuard players.

Use it when you need a quick reminder for skills, quests, navigation, towns, or the live map.

First things to try

Run these after joining:

/menu
/gear
/sg stats
/skills
/quests list
/gps help

Some commands are still being tested. If a command says you do not have permission, ask staff instead of guessing random variants.

Your first session

1. Accept the server resource pack. Custom items, models, textures, and UI may not look right without it.
2. Open /menu. This is the SvenGuard Menu for Gear, Stats, Resources, Map, Wiki, and safe shortcuts.
3. Open /gear. Accessories and special equipment use dedicated slots.
4. Check your stats with /sg stats. Gear bonuses affect things like health, defense, damage, mining speed, luck, and XP bonus.
5. Talk to guide NPCs. Story and tutorial quests should usually begin through NPCs.
6. Use GPS for known destinations. Try /gps help and /gps list.
7. Use the live map. It helps with landmarks, roads, and travel planning.

Main systems

Stats	Gear and skill stat summary. Use /sg stats.
Skills	RPG progression. Use /skills.
Quests	Story and task progression. Most real quests start from NPCs.
GPS	Navigation to known destinations.
Resources	Controlled resource worlds and regen nodes. Open /menu then Resources.
Map	Browser map at https://map.svenguard.world.
Towns	Town gameplay is planned/staged and may be staff-controlled while testing.

Resource worlds

SvenGuard uses designed resource areas instead of letting every protected story area become a quarry.

• Mine, chop, and fish in approved resource worlds or staff-marked resource zones.
• Custom fish, ores, logs, and resource items usually stack to 8.
• Vanilla XP from custom resource gathering is disabled where possible; RPGSkills XP is the progression that matters.
• Mining Speed and Luck bonuses from accessories can affect resource gathering.
• Travel to major regions will use portals or world travel points, not free warps from /menu.
